Review by DVIII "dv_iii" : Great looking, simple elegance, does it's job!

I am wearing this watch on my wrist as I type. I like the minimal metal on the clasp as they always tend to scratch on my desk over time. I like the motion-powered style and look, the see through face, and digital clock "on the bottom". It is not bulky or gaudy IMO. The strap is rubber, but very smooth and refined. It 'wraps' around my wrist fine as the bottom section flexes up and down (to a certain range). The watch is very minimalistic in function, the pull out dial sets the analog clock. There is actually two buttons on the digital clock, one is recessed and looks like a pin-needed type of button. That recessed pin toggles through the seconds, minutes, hours, month, and date. The larger button advances each of those units. And that's it. No alarm, no backlight - thought it is easy to read even in very low light, nothing else. Just a digital watch, and an analog watch. I think for the low price it is a nice watch to not have to care about while still having a contemporary look. I use mine for foreign travel and nothing else, so it's nice to not care about a more expensive watch. The instruction booklet is a general booklet covering all the different kinds of watches they mass produce (probably in china), but a monkey could figure out how to set this watch blindfolded, upside down, with bananas in reach and female monkeys in heat as a distraction. One star missing due to the alarm/backlight/instructions lacking in existence.

Review by mickeymicks : awesome looking watch.. but too big for me

I was really impressed when i opened the box and saw it the first time. this watch really looks awesome without being too rugged (quite the opposite, this looks elegant). The automatic watch looks really great - with clear glass panes in front and at the back, exposing the mechanism inside. However, that also makes it a little difficult to check the time. Thankfully, the digital display below it really helps. My main complaint for this watch is that it is too thick. The watch is a bit too big for me, but with the hinge between the Analog and Digital components, it somehow was able to fit my wrist. It's just too thick that it bulges out of my wrist making the size-mismatch too obvious. So as a tip, don't just check the width/diameter/length of the watch. Also check for the thickness as it might look awkward for a very small wrist. One other important thing, it's really heavy. Although, in time, i might get used to it. Also, the contrast for the digital display is not as strong/bright as in the picture. Overall, this watch looks really great.. but i probably won't be wearing it every day.
